W zbiorach naszej biblioteki zachowały się książki wydane przed 1939 rokiem, a także pochodzące z końca XIX wieku. Druki te, liczące ok. 130 pozycji, obejmują ówczesną literaturę piękną dla dzieci i młodzieży, literaturę popularnonaukową oraz opracowania metodyczne dla nauczycieli. Najstarszym woluminem jest "Złota Książka”, opisująca życiorysy różnych wybitnych światowych postaci, wydana w 1876 roku.
