W terminie 15-17 czerwca 2018 grupa najwytrwalszych turystów z naszej szkoły wzięła udział w ważnej imprezie na orientację. W okolicy Tarłowa i Ożarowa w woj. świętokrzyskim rozegrane zostały  trzy etapy w kategorii młodzież (TM) zaliczane do Pucharu Polski Młodzieży w Marszach na Orientację.

Poszczególne etapy PTTK Oddział Łucznik przygotował niezwykle starannie tak, by sprawdzić umiejętności czytania map topograficznych. Mapy posiadały wiele niespodzianek -  niepełną drożnię, fragmenty w postaci zdjęć lotniczych, wycięcia z mapy, puzzle czy odbicia lustrzane. Nasza młodzież poradziła sobie rewelacyjnie zajmując II i III miejsce w swojej kategorii. BRAWO

3 dni wyjazdu upłynęły w miłej atmosferze. Organizator przygotował wiele niespodzianek. Pierwszego dnia odbyło się szkolenie teoretyczne i praktyczne na terenie szkoły w Ożarowie, gdzie odbywał się również nocleg w typowych warunkach turystycznych co bardzo odpowiadało o naszej młodzieży. Drugiego dnia - 3 etapy InO, zwiedzanie Tarłowa i Glinnika z przewodnikiem, rekreacja na basenie, ognisko z kiełbaskami i śpiewaniem piosenek turystycznych. Trzeciego dnia odbyło się uroczyste podsumowanie, wręczenie nagród i dyplomów oraz wycieczka do Krzemionek Opatowskich.

Imprezę śmiało można zaliczyć do udanych.
