Puste butelki, nawet te w niespotykanych kształtach, rzadko wyglądają ładnie. Wypełnione różnego rodzaju „skarbami” znacznie zyskują na wyglądzie. Przekonali się o tym uczniowie klas drugich. W butelkach umieszczali kawę, kasze (różnego rodzaju od manny przez kuskus do gryczanej), bułkę tartą, przyprawy, herbatę, galaretki w proszku, ryż, soczewicę, łuskany groch, mak, fasole (różnokolorowe), kukurydzę, posypki dekoracyjne, ozdobne kamyczki, sól do kąpieli, a nawet zwykłą sól barwioną kolorową kredą.

Tworząc tego typu dekoracje należy dobierać składniki o porównywalnej wielkości. Wypełnianie butelek najlepiej zacząć od rzeczy najdrobniejszych i stopniowo przechodzić do większych lub zostać przy drobnych produktach, aż do zapełnienia butelki. Nie należy wsypywać np. kawy mielonej na ziarna fasoli. Kawa wypełni szczeliny między fasolą i nie utworzą się dekoracyjne warstwy. Należy także zwrócić uwagę na kolory produktów, żeby tworzyły te dekoracyjne warstwy, a nie zlały nam się w jedną całość. (M. Kośla)
