Od lat październik jest uznawany za miesiąc dobroci dla zwierząt. W tym czasie na terenie miasta odbywają się zbiórki wszelkich produktów, na które czekają mieszkańcy radomskiego schroniska dla zwierząt.  Dzieci i młodzież szkolna gromadzi koce, smycze, miski i inne przedmioty, które mogą być tam wykorzystane. Wolontariusze z KMW wspólnie z młodzieżą ze Stowarzyszenia Centrum Młodzieży Arka włączyli się w akcję zbierania żywności. W sobotę 11 października wspomagali pracowników schroniska w sklepie L’ECLERK. Dziękujemy: Oli Mastalerz, Damianowi Sionkowi, Paulinie Pronobis, Oli Łobodzińskiej i Małgosi Borkowskiej, którzy poświęcili swój wolny czas na rzecz podopiecznych radomskiego schroniska.
