W czwartek 15 maja rozpoczęły się obchody XI Radomskich Dni Godności. Co roku przypominają nam one o tym, że obok nas żyją ludzie niepełnosprawni, potrzebujący wsparcia i zainteresowania. Wiele z nich jest utalentowanych w różnych dziedzinach, ale ze względu na swoją niepełnosprawność wymagają pomocy ze strony rodziców i opiekunów.

W dniach 4 – 5 kwietnia na terenie całego kraju odbyła się Świąteczna Zbiórka Żywności. Tradycyjnie wolontariusze i nauczyciele z naszej szkoły włączyli się w tę akcję. Zebraliśmy ponad 400 kg artykułów spożywczych. Kierownictwu i pracownikom sklepu Lewiatan przy ul. Katowickiej, w którym odbyła się zbiórka, serdecznie dziękujemy za życzliwość i pomoc, a klientom za ich hojność!

W dniu dzisiejszym grupa wolontariuszy z naszego gimnazjum wspólnie z wychowankami Specjalnego Ośrodek Szkolno – Wychowawczego dla Dzieci Niewidomych i Słabo Widzących w Radomiu powitali Wiosnę. Kolorowy korowód przeszedł z Ośrodka przy ulicy Struga do nowego parku na Gołębiowie II.

Celem konkursu jest promowanie dobrych zachowań, działań, postaw dzieci i młodzieży oraz upowszechnianie młodzieżowej aktywności. Konkurs adresowany jest do młodych ludzi wyróżniających się pozytywną postawą w życiu codziennym m. in. wysoką kulturą osobistą, empatią, życzliwością, skutecznością społecznego godnego naśladowania działania. Konkurs przeprowadzany jest na dwóch poziomach: szkoły podstawowej - zwany "Ósemeczką" - kandydaci (10 - 13 lat) mogą uczestniczyć tylko w etapie lokalnym, szkoły gimnazjalnej i ponadgimnazjalnej - zwany "Ósemką" - kandydaci (14 - 19 lat) mogą uczestniczyć na poziomie lokalnym i ogólnopolskim.

17 stycznia odbyła się w naszym gimnazjum karnawałowa zabawa choinkowa. Bawiły się na niej wspólnie dzieci pracowników szkoły i najmłodsi podopieczni Miejskiego Ośrodka Pomocy Społecznej wraz z rodzicami.
