WSPÓŁPRACA Z AMERICAN CORNER RADOM

Od września 2011 współpracujemy z Amerykańskim Centrum Kultury i Informacji American Corner Radom. Celem współpracy jest poszerzanie zakresu działań szkoły oraz stwarzanie uczniom dodatkowych możliwości rozwoju intelektualnego poprzez wzbudzanie w nich zainteresowania nauką języka angielskiego.  Dzięki podejmowanym działaniom uczniowie mogą pogłębiać wiedzę na temat historii, kultury i geografii USA przy jednoczesnym rozwijaniu umiejętności językowych poprzez kontakt z autentycznym językiem. Przyjazna atmosfera oraz nietypowe formy pracy sprzyjają rozwijaniu kompetencji językowych oraz poszerzaniu horyzontów myślowych uczniów naszego gimnazjum.

Konkurs Wiedzy o Wyborach Prezydenckich w USA

 14 grudnia 2012 obyło się uroczyste wręczenie nagród dla laureatów ogólnoszkolnego konkursu na temat systemu wyborczego w USA zorganizowanego  w  naszej szkole wspólnie z American Corner Radom,  Polsko-Amerykańską Komisją Fulbrighta oraz  Ambasadą USA w Warszawie.

Gratulujemy świetnych wyników zwycięzcom oraz wyróżnionym uczniom.

Wizyta w American Corner Radom

W czwartek,  22 listopada 2012 uczniowie klasy 3b, pod opieką pani Marty Kalety  uczestniczyli  w lekcji kulturowej w siedzibie Amerykańskiego  Centrum Kultury  i  Informacji –American Corner Radom. Uczestnicy zajęć zostali ogromnie zainspirowani możliwościami jakie dają zasoby biblioteczne Centrum.  Po zakończeniu zajęć uczniowie uzyskali karty biblioteczne, które z pewnością będą wykorzystywali regularnie.

WIZYTA AMERYKAŃSKIEGO DYPLOMATY

W dniu 3 kwietnia 2012 roku nasze gimnazjum gościło Pana Andrew Staples , dyplomatę z Ambasady Amerykańskiej w Warszawie. Podczas wizyty uczniowie uczestniczyli w wykładzie na temat wyborów prezydenckich w USA. Po wystąpieniu Pana Staples uczniowie wzięli udział w mini – quizie oraz w dyskusji  dotyczącej wystąpienia dyplomaty.

WIZYTA W AMBASADZIE USA

17  listopada 2011 roku grupa uczniów z naszego gimnazjum odwiedziła Ambasadę Amerykańską w Warszawie. Grupa liczyła niespełna 50 osób, młodzież nie tylko wysłuchała prelekcji na ciekawe tematy, które sama wcześniej wybrała w porozumieniu z nauczycielami, ale także miała okazję zadawać pytania i dyskutować z dyplomatami.

Wizyta w American Corner

Dnia  18.11.2014 roku uczniowie klasy 2C  wraz z nauczycielkami języka angielskiego p. Iloną Adamską i p. Julitą Bębenek odwiedzili Amerykańskie Centrum Kultury i Informacji American Corner w Radomiu.

W trakcie spotkania uczniowie zostali zapoznani z działalnością organizacji i zasobami  biblioteki. Wszyscy uczniowie zostali poinformowani o możliwości poszerzenia swojej wiedzy na temat Stanów Zjednoczonych poprzez uczestnictwo w rozmaitych wydarzeniach i konwersacjach językowych.
