Uczniowie z I c,przyrodniczo-matematycznej 13 października grabili liście kasztanowca białego przed budynkiem RDLP. Czy wiecie dlaczego?

Metodą mechaniczną zwalczają wroga nr 1 tego gatunku- szrotówka kasztanowcowiaczka którego larwy niszczą liście żywiąc się jego tkankami.  Poczwarki wraz z liśćmi opadają na ziemię by w kolejnym roku dać nowe pokolenie tego szkodnika. Liście są pakowane w worki a następnie palone,tylko w ten sposób można zniszczyć odporne na niskie temperatury  poczwarki. Wiele pracy przed gimnazjalistami bo liści jeszcze wciąż dużo na gałęziach.

Po godzinnym grabieniu czekało mile podziękowanie ze strony pracowników RDLP. O szrotówku opowiadała młodzieży pani prezes ZO LOP w Radomiu. Akcję przyrodników wspomogli:pani rzecznik RDLP  i leśniczy ornitolog pan Tadeusz Zawadzki.
