Wiemy jak tragiczne w skutkach są zagrożenia przeciwpożarowe.  Bardzo ważne jest  stałe monitorowanie lasów.  Dowiedzieliśmy się jak ustala się położenie miejsca pożaru, słyszeliśmy meldunki składane do „centrum dowodzenia"

 W drugiej części naszego spotkania w RDLP poznaliśmy historię leśnej siedziby. Pod kierunkiem pani rzecznik Edyty Nowickiej zwiedzaliśmy sale muzealne, łowieckie, kiosk multimedialny .

Bardzo dziękujemy leśnikom za spotkanie.

Kolejne wieści już wkrótce. Oto kolejna..........

"Zabytkowa siedziba RDLP została odzyskana z rąk komunistów w roku 1990. W Sali historii Leśnictwa regionalnego jest wiele dokumentów, zdjęć, kronik. Tu też zaprezentowano zdjęcia kolejnych Dyrektorów Lasów Państwowych, których było 41.  W sekcji przeciwpożarowej  lokalizuje się pożary na wielkiej mapie z nadleśnictwami,  przyjmuje się też informacje z terenu za pomocą radiotelefonów. Dzięki temu pracownicy szybko kontaktują się i działają. Mimo to straty są ogromne, bo las szybko się pali.  Szczególnie sosnowy, które przeważają na terenie okolicznych nadleśnictw. Pożar jest zagrożeniem dla zwierząt, roślin i ludzi, całego środowiska.  W tym roku były w badanych terenach 224 pożary - dwukrotnie więcej niż w poprzednim roku.  Ważną rolę w gaszeniu ognia, odgrywają samoloty, samochody gaśnicze, pomocne są drogi pożarowe w każdym lesie..." - relacjonuje Angelika z 1c.
