19 listopada 2015 roku uczniowie naszej szkoły wezmą udział w I etapie konkursu z pisania w języku angielskim pt. „Write On”. Konkurs zorganizowany jest przez Cambridge English Language Assessment. Zadaniem uczestników jest napisanie opowiadania na 140-190 słów.

ICH TROJE w drugim etapie!

Miło nam poinformować, że do drugiego etapu kuratoryjnego Konkursu Języka Angielskiego zakwalifikowało się troje uczniów naszej szkoły: Kalina Kwiecień z klasy IIa oraz Wiktoria Białek i Szymon Szymczyk (oboje z klasy IIIa). Projekt „Chemia-Chemistry” zaprezentowany na forum europejskim

W dniach 8-11 października 2015r. w Warszawie odbyły się Warsztaty Rozwoju Zawodowego „Science, environment and entrepreneurship in eTwinning projects”. W spotkaniu wzięło udział 120 uczestników z 24 krajów europejskich. Konferencję otworzyli dyrektor generalny Fundacji Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji, Mirosław Marczewski oraz Anne Gilleran, z Centralnego Biura eTwinning (CSS) w Brukseli.
Wśród zaproszonych gości znalazła się także nauczycielka Publicznego Gimnazjum Nr 13 w Radomiu, pani Beata Nawrot, autorka i koordynatorka międzynarodowego projektu chemicznego "Chemia-Chemistry". Projekt realizowany jest we współpracy z brytyjską placówką St John Payne School w Chelmsford. Jest on zwieńczeniem trzyletniej pracy uczniów PG 13 na zajęciach chemii, nauczanej poprzez język angielski. Projekt doczekał się już wielu nagród i wyróżnień. Tym razem Krajowe Biuro Programu eTwinning poprosiło koordynatorkę projektu o zaprezentowanie wspomnianych działań na forum europejskim. Projekt "Chemia-Chemistry" uznano za projekt o najwyższej jakości oraz przykład dobrej praktyki wśród projektów związanych z naukami matematyczno-przyrodniczymi.
Publiczne Gimnazjum nr 13 od czterech lat aktywnie działa w ramach programu eTwinning, a oferta ciekawych i innowacyjnych działań projektowych stale się poszerza. Galeria

Z radością informujemy, iż Instytut Anglistyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego objął patronatem naukowym klasy dwujęzyczne z językiem angielskim w naszym gimnazjum. Jest to dla nas wielkie wyróżnienie, które wymiernie przełoży się na wszechstronny rozwój naszych uczniów.
Projekt "eMagazine" - certyfikat eTwinning

Z przyjemnością informujemy, iż realizowany w naszej szkole międzynarodowy projekt "eMagazine" otrzymał certyfikat eTwinning Label. Projekt realizowany jest we współpracy ze szkołami w Niemczech, Anglii i Francji, a opiekę nad uczniami naszej szkoły sprawują pani Beata Nawrot, nauczycielka języka angielskiego, oraz pan Radosław Lis, nauczyciel języka niemieckiego.
W ramach projektu uczniowie redagują w czterech językach międzynarodowe czasopismo szkolne, uczą się krytycznego i twórczego myślenia, poznają inne kultury oraz doskonalą swoje sprawności językowe, wykorzystując technologie informacyjno-komunikacyjne.
Tradycji stało się zadość – uczniowie klasy dwujęzycznej z językiem angielskim już po raz trzeci stanęli do chemicznej rywalizacji ze swoimi angielskimi rówieśnikami z St John Payne School w Chelmsford. Quiz prowadzony był w języku angielskim, a przygotowali go i moderowali pani Beata Nawrot, pani Renata Kowalska-Gajewska oraz pan Nick Minnican.
Licznie zgromadzona publiczność – w tym m. in. dyrekcja szkoły i rodzice uczniów biorących udział w projekcie – obserwowali, jak uczestnicy quizu naprzemiennie zadawali sobie pytania związane z zagadnieniami przewidzianymi w programie dla szkół gimnazjalnych.
Rywalizacja była bardzo dynamiczna i emocjonująca, uczniowie klas dwujęzycznych wykazali się nie tylko wiedzą w zakresie chemii, lecz także mieli okazję potwierdzić swoje nadzwyczajne umiejętności językowe. Gratulujemy obu drużynom!
