On Santa Claus day, class 3A took a trip to Warsaw. When we arrived at the capital, we drove to the Łowicka Culture Centre, where our workshops took place. The workshops covered some aspects of English literature, especially Jane Austen and her novels. The workshops were carried out by an English coach and they were fun to participate in.
Our next step was a ride to the Museum of Polish Jews, where we watched a film about the centre and all the exhibitions held there. Then we had workshops of Yiddish language and culture, during which we learnt the alphabet, Jewish lullabies and we translated Jewish stories for little children.
We ended the day with a visit to the Old Town . We walked around enjoying the atmosphere of approaching Christmas and drinking hot chocolate in fabulous little cafes.
It was a day full of excitement. Luckily, everybody got home safely, as on our way back to Radom, we were caught by a terrible snow storm!
