Co roku na całym świecie 22 września lub 6 czerwca ludzie rezygnują z poruszania się samochodami osobowymi i przesiadają się w miarę możliwość do komunikacji miejskiej. Tego dnia powinniśmy radośnie zostawić nasz czterokołowy pojazd i przesiąść się na rower bądź już wcześniej wspomniany transport miejski.

Sylwester i Nowy Rok to czas petard i fajerwerków. Z zakupem ich nie ma problemu. Można je kupić dosłownie wszędzie. Warto jednak wiedzieć, że na terenie naszego kraju istnieje zakaz sprzedaży tych artykułów nieletnim. Jest to mądry zakaz, jednak często niestety nie stosowany w praktyce. Bywa też, że fajerwerki kupują dorośli, ale odpalać pozwalają już dzieciom. Środki pirotechniczne dostarczają niezwykłych doznań wizualnych, ale przy tym są też wielką bombą chemiczną, której zawartość po wystrzeleniu zawsze opada na ziemię.

Ratownictwo w Tatrach

Tatry są najwyższymi górami w Polsce i zarazem najniebezpieczniejszymi. Na terenie Tatrzańskiego Parku Narodowego znajduje się wiele niebezpiecznych szlaków m.in. szlak na Mięguszowiecką Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem, szlak z Wyżniej Kondrackiej Przełęczy na Giewont. Tatry to nie tylko miejsce gdzie można chodzić po szlakach, jest też ogromna ilość dróg wspinaczkowych m.in. droga Surdela, droga setka czy droga gnojka. A co w przypadku, gdy w czasie pobytu na szlaku lub drodze taternickiej zdarzy nam się wypadek?

13 października obchodzimy Dzień Ratownictwa Medycznego. Święto to zostało powołane ustawą z dnia 8 października 2006 roku o Państwowym Ratownictwie medycznym. Jak trudny to i odpowiedzialny zawód, nie trzeba nikogo przekonywać. Niemal każdego dnia widujemy karetki pędzące na sygnale, ustępujemy im miejsce na drodze, by mogli sprawnie przejechać, ale rzadko poświęcamy więcej uwagi osobom znajdującym się w środku.

Schrony w Radomiu

Na terenie Radomia znajduje się blisko 50 schronów, są one rozmieszczone w większości w centrum naszego miasta. Powstały pod koniec lat 50. (okres Zimnej Wojny), na szczęście nigdy nie musiały być wykorzystane. Mieszczą się w większości w budynkach bloków mieszkaniowych (85 proc. z nich jest w zasobach spółdzielni mieszkaniowych), np. przy ul. Waryńskiego, Młodzianowskiej, Sportowej, Miłej.
