Dzień rzucania palenia

Co roku w trzeci czwartek listopada obchodzony jest Światowy Dzień Rzucania Palenia, z inicjatywy amerykańskiego dziennikarza Lynna Smitha. Dziennikarz ten w 1974 roku zaapelował do czytelników swojej gazety, by przez jeden dzień powstrzymali się od palenia papierosów. Efekt był zaskakujący – aż 150 tysięcy ludzi próbowało przez jedną dobę wytrzymać bez tej używki. W następnych latach akcja objęła swoim zasięgiem całe USA i większość palaczy. Zachęcone wynikami akcji Amerykańskie Towarzystwo Walki z Rakiem uznało trzeci czwartek listopada za Dzień Rzucania Palenia.

Dodatkowe oceny

Październik jest miesiącem w którym obchodzi się wiele międzynarodowych i ważnych tylko dla naszego kraju  świąt nietypowych. Z okazji tych dni każdy uczeń klasy trzeciej ma możliwość otrzymania dodatkowej oceny z Edukacji dla bezpieczeństwa. Wystarczy wykonać pracę dodatkową - plakat, gazetkę, komiks, instrukcję, transparent, itp. -  przynieść na tydzień przed datą święta do szkoły i oddać nauczycielowi Edb.

Projekt edukacyjny

Uczniowie klasy 3e zrealizowali edukacyjny projekt pod kierunkiem p. Izabeli Warchoł,  w ramach którego udali się do Publicznej Szkoły Podstawowej nr 33, aby najmłodszym uczniom z klasy zerowej przekazać wiedzę o niebezpiecznych kleszczach. Opis realizacji projektu oraz fotoreportaż znajduje się na karcie: Kampania "Kleszcz mały czy duży nic dobrego nie wróży" w bocznym menu.

Europejski Dzień Numeru 112

Europejski Dzień Numeru 112 obchodziliśmy 11 lutego.  Każdy powinien wiedzieć, że numer ten łączy z Centrum Powiadamiania Ratunkowego, jest bezpłatny i na terenie naszego kraju obsługiwany w języku polskim. Te i inne cenne informacje znalazły się na plakatach i instrukcjach wykonanych przez uczniów klas trzecich. Z okazji Dnia Numeru 112 prace uczniów zostały wyeksponowane na terenie całej szkoły.

Kleszcze raz jeszcze!

Szkolna kampania informacyjna pod hasłem „Kleszcz mały czy duży nic dobrego nie wróży” trwa. Punktem kulminacyjnym był przeprowadzony w dniu 15 kwietnia happening, który miał za zadanie zainteresować tematem możliwie największą liczbę osób. W ramach projektu edukacyjnego uczniowie wykonali szereg przygotowań. Między innymi przygotowali stoisko z materiałami informacyjnymi oraz opracowali i wykonali ulotki na których umieścili adresy stron internetowych zawierających ciekawe i cenne informacje dotyczące kleszczy i chorób odkleszczowych. Ulotki podczas długiej przerwy rozdawali koleżankom, kolegom nauczycielom i wszystkim pracownikom gimnazjum. Zachęcali ich do udziału w elektronicznych testach weryfikujących wiedzę na temat kleszczy. W godzinach popołudniowych chłopcy korzystając z dnia otwartego w szkole  przeprowadzili kampanię informacyjną dla rodziców. Wszystkich zainteresowanych tematem zapraszamy do odwiedzenia strony przedmiotu: Edukacja dla bezpieczeństwa. Tam w zakładce „Kampania….” znajdują się prezentacje, zdjęcia plakatów, wiersze i testy wykonane przez uczniów naszej szkoły.

Kampania "Kleszcz mały czy duży nic dobrego nie wróży"

Od początku kwietnia na terenie szkoły prowadzona jest kampania informacyjna pod hasłem „Kleszcz mały czy duży nic dobrego nie wróży”. Większość z nas zdaje sobie sprawę, że te małe pajęczaki stanowią zagrożenie dla życia ludzkiego i naszych zwierząt (zwłaszcza psów i kotów). Nie każdy jednak wie, jak przebiega rozwój kleszcza i kiedy jest najbardziej niebezpieczny. Nie wszyscy też wiedzą, że przeciwdziałając  niektórym chorobom  wywoływanym przez ukąszenie tego owada można się zaszczepić.

Nie dla wypalania traw

Wypalanie traw jest złą tradycją z którą zmagają się od lat strażacy, policjanci, służby ochrony środowiska. Ziemia wówczas wcale nie użyźnia się, ani nie odnawia. Wielokrotnie wypowiadali się na ten temat naukowcy, przyrodnicy i ekolodzy. Mimo wielu akcji uświadamiających rolnicy nadal sądzą, że ogień najlepiej zniszczy chwasty i ich nasiona. To prawda, ale skoro niszczy chwasty, to co dzieje się z innymi pożytecznymi roślinami?

Tlenek węgla - cichy zabójca

Tlenek węgla, popularnie zwany czadem, jest gazem powstającym w procesach spalania paliw stałych, płynnych i gazowych w warunkach niedostatecznej ilości tlenu. Wbrew panującej opinii, jest bezbarwny i bezwonny, dlatego nie można stwierdzić jego obecności bez użycia specjalnych urządzeń detekcyjnych.
